Wouldn’t m be 8 in this case? Also, m^e (assuming it’s m=12) doesn’t even check out from the slide (248,832 is the answer). Can someone explain what’s going on here?

What’s the difference b/w bit pattern and m in this example…

I mentioned this in my lectures that the bit pattern should be 00001100. Great that you catch it!
