A3 Q1F - Does the root always arc to the word with address 1?

From the given examples and sample tests, all of the “roots” connect to the first word (i.e, address = 1).

Would there be any cases where the root arcs to more than one word, or arcs to a word that is not the first in the sentence?

I don’t want to answer this directly. You’ll want to reason about what the root node point to and whether there’s anything about that that necessitates the word being in a certain position. Consider also if you can reasonably replace the first word in the example with two (or more) words, if the sentence would work, and what the dependency graph would look like in that case. I’ll also add that examples are just examples.
